Remembering Regina Marie (Gura) Graygo
Regina Marie (Gura) Graygo died in Struthers on 3 October 2022 at age 98. She was born on 11 April 1924 in Struthers, the seventh of the fourteen children of John M. Gura and Anna Marie (Lucas) Gura.
She graduated from Struthers High School in 1941 and St. Elizabeth School of Nursing in 1945, later earning a degree in education from Youngstown State University. Her obituary records a long career in nursing, teaching, and nurse training in the Youngstown area.
Regina married Henry F. Graygo on 16 September 1946. The obituary names her children as sons Henry F. Graygo Jr. and James Michael Graygo, and daughters Regina Marie Paulenich, Frances Ann Warino, and Patricia Louise Graygo.
