John (Janos) Michael Gura, born December 28, 1886, came to America at the age of 18 aboard the RMS Carpathia, arriving at Ellis Island on January 7, 1905. He met and married Anna Marie Lucas (born November 9, 1891), and together they raised fourteen children in Struthers, Ohio.
