Remembering Marian Monica Gura
Marian Monica Gura of Winchester, Massachusetts, died on 28 May 2022. She was born on 31 January 1933 in Struthers, Ohio, one of the fourteen children of John M. Gura and Anna Marie (Lucas) Gura.
Marian was the beloved twin sister of Monica Gura. Her obituary says that she entered the Daughters of St. Paul at age 13 and remained there for 31 years. After leaving the order, she supported St. Eulalia's rectory for 20 years and remained active in St. Eulalia's parish and choir.
The obituary records that she was survived by her sisters Regina Graygo, Ann Marie Fabilli, and Monica Gura, her brother James Gura, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and extended family members.
